Im so confused. My spotlight and finder search aren't finding song titles I know exist in the music folder. They're all local files playable in iTunes. Since when do these files not get found by Finder? Can anybody confirm?

And yes I rebuilt my spotlight index.

It works for me on Monterey 12.5 to find everything in the path [user] > Music > Music > Media > Music as well as several other non-Music.app files in the Music subfolders.

I hesitate to ask, but you do have it enabled in Settings > Spotlight and it wasn't added to the Spotlight Privacy tab?

But then I add criteria like Kind is Music and all the other results remain. So strange.
