I am going to tmobile with my iphone 3gs. I intend to get the even more plus plan for $30 a month for 500 min. I want to add the $10 data plan, will it work?

Well I have the hella cheap tzones plan for 5.99. when you get the data plan just make sure you have a cheapo slider phone or something and not a smartphone or else they'll upsell you to a "smartphone" plan which is $25 I believe. Some customer service rep from tmobile said the cheapo plans like the tzones and the $10 plan do not work with iphones but obviously they are wrong.

Like said above dont bring in the iphone or call the customer support while using an iphone.
Put your sim in a cheap flip phone and they should add the $10 data plan with no problems.
