Does tetering costs more?

Hello, supposing that using my Samsung Tablet I use 100MB in a minute. If I get an iPhone, put the sim card in it and use it to provide 4G internet connection for my Samsung Tablet, from the internet provider points of view, will I use 100MB or more? Will I be charged the same amount as if I use the Samsung tablet alone?

It doesn't matter how you use it. What matters is that you used the data.

So, do you mean the following two approaches will cost the same?

1. Sim card in iPhone 6s Plus. Connect my Samsung tablet to iPhone and use the iPhone to provide internet access for my tablet.

2. Insert sim card to my tablet. Access the internet directly from my tablet.

The same sim is being used. It doesn't matter if you insert it in 4 different phones and 2 different tablets. The data is coming from the same pool.
