iPad Pro Does the 11” Blue folio fit the new Air 4?

The iPad Air 10.9” should fit all the 11” folio colors right?....
The Air 4 works with the 11” magic keyboard why release smart folio colors that don’t match the colors? The new pacific blue iPad folio is perfect for the blue iPad.
I suppose I could buy it and test it out. ?‍♂️

If your intent is to use the Surf Blue 11" Pro folio with the Air 4, be cautious.

While the external physical dimensions of the 11" Pro and Air 4 are almost identical (the Air is 0.17mm thicker), Apple specifies a different folio for the Air 4, and doesn't list them as cross-compatible.

It would not have made the effort to produce a different version for the Air if there wasn't some difference of significance.

I think they would. Only 0.2 mm thickness difference. Maybe the camera cutout is different but I have seen people use 2018 iPad Pro 11 with a 2020 case. So I assume iPad Air 4 should be fine.

I like getting Apple branded ones and the build quality is better.

I certainly can’t speak to the quality of the new cases, but on my iPad Air 2 the apple case simply felt miles better than the 3rd party cases I tried. And it just seemed to fit in a way others couldn’t.

It was absolutely overpriced, but this is apple. What isn’t?

I have to agree and disagree. I've owned a lot of 3rd party cases and a few official Apple covers/cases and I have to say that Apple's accessories are usually better... But certainly not that much better. They are definitely overpriced, but if price is not a factor...

I can tell you the magnets hold the iPad in place identically. I can tell you the feel of the material is the same, but I was wrong to say they’re the same quality. The Apple folio actually started to show aging a lot sooner than the 12 dollar Amazon folio did. But this isn’t new. The 300 dollar magic keyboard is notorious for looking terrible after mere months of normal use.

Depending where you buy it from, you should be able to just take it back and say you have the wrong iPad for the case, and they should accept a return. Worth a try if your store does.

Same, been using off-brand protectors since 2013 and I've had only 1 iPhone case started to crack... all other off-brand cases lasted pretty okay, but not quite the same as Apple.

I have a 2018 iPad Pro 11" and bought the Cyprus Green iPad Air 4 cover for it and it fits perfect. So the blue 11" 2nd gen cover will fit the iPad Air 4 perfect just with a bigger camera opening.
