Does the 14.99 250MB 3g plan expire after a month?

I was wondering if the 250mb 3g plan for the ipad expires after a month or if it would roll over until I use up the 250mb? I plan on selling my current wifi model and going for the 3g but I don't think i'll be using 3g all that much. However it would be great to have for those few times when wifi is not available.

It's a monthly plan from AT&T with a 250MB cap, just no commitment. You can buy a month, but not the next month, but then buy a month again when you feel like it.
