MP 7,1 Does the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series provide noticable video en/decoding advantages?

Hi,

just out of interest- right now I have two Vega II mpx modules in my mac pro - and it's pretty frustrating to see how my colleague's mac studio smokes my machine in h264/h265 playback workflows because of its video engines. Hence the question if the newer hardware in the new gpus could help with that, or if the advantages in the real world are rather neglectable?
Can someone shed some light on that please?

Received the w6800x Duo today, ran some tests vs other gpus I had benchmarked. 28 core Mac Pro, 96gb ram geekbench 5 metal: 144,910 hash rate for those interested: 58 mh/s each, around 600 watt total system draw, 175w-200w each gpu Will benchmark more as well, if anyone has a specific request...

The biggest disappointment still today is that Apple never managed to let the afterburner take over tasks like this.
