Just a quick question guys, a friend of mine who bought an iMac (I convinced him to get one) just under a year ago has been having a lot of problems with it recently.
It is an Stock 20'' C2D upgraded to 3GB, it has been freezing, randomly quitting and the Temp of the GPU Diode and the Power Supply are always much much higher than the rest of the compnents and seem to rise at the same time. The GPU Diode can go up to 65C and the Power Supply 84C when everything else is barely at 40C. I have run TechTool Pro and the Apple Hardware Test and have tried a clean install many times. So, what I am wondering is; Is there anything which can test the Power Supply.
People on this forum have always helped me with queries in the past and I would be very grateful If someone could help me again here.
