I remember reading in a review that iMacs use plastic for the logo on the back because of the Wifi antenna. Is this still true? I watched some teardown videos of the 2017 and 2015 iMac and indeed the antenna is connected to the Apple logo. Previously I owned a 2011 iMac but it looked like glass to me. I'm just curious. :}

It has always been made out of plastic since the models introduced in Late 2009, and yes, behind it there is still a WiFi antenna on the current ones.

Thanks! Couldn't find anything about the recent models.
