I have noticed one minor thing in my otherwise perfect 2.4GHz 15" MBP. If you turn the machine upside down, and push on the area between the RAM-slot (I believe that is the slot, above the battery) and the FCC-labels (near the edge of the machine), the case makes a clicking sound. Is that a bug or a feature?

If I balance the MBP on its side, it falls over and leaves a big dent.

Is this a bug/feature too?

Have you discovered any faults at the sub-atomic level yet?

No. But the thing is that the case is otherwise just about perfectly solid. Apart from that one location. And since that is also right where my fingers often are when I'm carrying the machine, it can be a bit annoying.

If you don't have anything sensible or relevant to say, then don't say anything. If any of you guys actually have the 15" MBP, you could have tested this by yourself in the same time it took you to type your "replies".

Well, what sort of replies did you expect asking "is this a bug or a feature"???

Edit: Okay in all fairness I went and checked the underside of my MBP and I did not encounter any "clicking" noises by pressing on the prescribed area. In all likelihood I'm guessing you have some "play" on the underside of your MBP in that one location. Is that what you're describing that in that one area you're able to indent the case and it "clicks" when you apply pressure with your hand?

That question simply means that "does every MBP have this thing, or is my machine the exception to the rule?"

my 12" PB does that when you press the area under mouse button. The gray plastic is kinda sticking up a bit there.

OK, I'm sorry :).
My case seems 99.9% perfectly solid, the only problem I seem to have is that the very front edge (where IR sensor & lid button are) is slightly bent, & has been since I took it out of the box. The case curves inward to the left of the IR sensor & you can feel the sharp edge of the plastic rimming above it, but this is no disaster so I don't really care (unless this starts to cause the plastic rimming to lift up/come off)

My case makes a clicking noise on the right side very easily. If i am using it in my lap, and move the laptop at all, I get a clicking noise.

My new mbp 15'' 2.2 doesn't have any problems like that, but it's only like 7 days old....The only thing i noticed with my case is that it doesn't seem to close tightly there's a little space until you get to where the prongs come out to close . It kind of annoyed me because it looked cheap, but i'm living with it.

Mine also makes a click-y noise when push ever so slightly in that section next to the battery. I was thinking of taking it in for a genius to look at but its not that big of an issue with me.
