Basically such a large screen doesn't change anything to your apps, as you will not use all the estate for each windows. It's more a convenient way to get many windows side by side for multitasking etc. This high resolution will be great for photoshop users though. And for movie lovers...
 
don't pay for Safari HD.

there is a FREE download of Safari HD on the apple website.

It was late when I posted, so sorry if the question sounded wacky. What I meant was to ask if people found non 720/1080 material to look soft or less than ideal when displayed on a screen of such high resolution. Websites etc.

I have no idea what the point of this thread is so it must be that my English comprehension is lacking.

I think that I am going to contact the local community college and take an English course. :)

Websites are not coded in 720 or 1080, you're thinking of TV programming. The pixels match pixel for pixel. If anything, the higher res will make things look sharper.
