No Aptx in iOS. I don’t see it happening ever, but one should never say never!

I’d be interested to know this. Especially with how the APM handle data differently to the APP (decode it in real time after it’s sent).

Is the better sound people are getting from the APM due to this software decoding method, or the hardware within them (larger drivers etc.)?

Alright, so what is it now that they using? Is it still AAC@320kbps ? That would be quite sad in comparison to aptX devices. And what about the airpods themselves, they don't support aptX either?
