Just bought a new iPhone 6 as Apple forced me to do since the iPhone 4S I bought second hand recently was too slow for my liking on iOS 8

Now the camera seems to have some sort of protective plastic sticker on it but I am not sure, is there a sticker on it that I need to remove or is that just how it looks? don't wanna apply extra force and cause any scratches to the lens so I thought I'd ask here

There is no sticker -- what you see is the sapphire lens cover. It is normal to have a protruding lens.

From memory my 6+ didn't have a sticker on the camera but your fingernail will not scratch the sapphire crystal lens fyi

Thanks a lot guys. I love how fast I get replies in this forum :)

Loving iOS 8.1.1 now after having had hated it with the iPhone 4S, it was so darn slow and jerky even though I disabled transparency. Now it is buttery smooth even with everything on :)
