Does the iPhone have the "ipod_control" folder on it?

I am wondering because for all my iPods I've had (5 now) I always just copy the "ipod_control" folder from the old one to the new one and all my music/video goes across fine while keeping my ratings, play counts, dates added, last played, etc.

I want to get an iPod touch which is basically the same as the iPhone. So if it works on the iPhone chances are it will do the same on the new iPod.

Anybody tried it? does it have the same folder?

You could try sticking the contents of ipod_control into /var/root/Media/iTunes_Control/

I don't know if it will work, though ...

OT: I just realized that iTunes 7.4 put a new directory on my iPhone...

/var/root/Media/iTunes_Control/Ringtones
