Apple needs to put out NEW commercials highlighting these lesser but really fun and useful features and/or having users talk about it:

A friend of mine and I had the same idea. I want (for lack of time) to create a nice short that shows all the different ways people can "naturally" use their iPhone. I have an iPhone case (clip and rubber grip) that let's it stand in portrait & landscape mode, and I'm able to watch video podcasts and tv shows during lunch, or clip it to the shade in my car and have a ceiling mounted video player with a gorgeous picture. I was watching an episode of This American Life while parked at BK the other day, and it seemed so strange to just effortlessly reach up, and in a few taps, take advantage of the municiple WiFi in the area and check my Google homepage for all my latest RSS feeds... just tapping, lighty a few times at the screen (double-tapping to zoom in to each RSS list). Very freaky futuristic to just go right back to watching the show afterwards. Tap, tap.

Plus...! If you have it sitting on your charger, you can set it to "slideshow" mode. The "water ripple" and "cube" effects as it goes from picture to picture is amazing. While its playing music, its simply the most beautiful picture frame... whether you've got kids/family photos or like looking at the latest crop of FHM girls (I have it on photo shuffle).
