Alert you in any way (audibly, preferably) when you missed a call (say you walked away from your desk for a bit) or have voicemail waiting?

i don't believe there are any audible warnings. but pressing either the sleep/wake button or the home button will prompt you on the screen of any missed calls, text messages, etc.

One of the features I miss about my old StarTac. It would beep incessantly until you opened it up.

I forget to check the phone often and if I miss a call it may be a day before I look again.

Hopefully they add something like that in. I miss that feature from my past phones. I'd rather it beep every few minutes to alert me of missed calles, text messages or emails versus forcing me to pick up the phone, unlock it, and check the home screen.
