I was considering the 16/1tb option but I know that it only has one fan and that had me wondering if it'd get too loud during light gaming (Roblox, Sims 4, Minecraft)

I have the M3 Pro and I never hear the fans at all. The heaviest task I do is when restoring a large Postgres database which uses all the cores and the fans seem to never be activated. I don't know how this compares to gaming though.

I've never used a M3 Mac, but I used to own a 14" M2 Pro MBP. I sold it because the fans would get very loud when I ran Topaz Video AI. I switched to a desktop (Mac Mini M2 Pro) and the fans noise is no longer a problem.
