Does the Maps Widget and Smart notifications work with Google Calendar?

If you use Google Calendar to sync your calendar events does the next destination feature work for the Maps widget?

Similarly, will iOS give you smart notifications on when to leave if you are using Google Calendar as your backend to sync?
