I'm in Vegas for a convention and my girlfriend let me borrow her AirPods Pro. Now, because they're associated with her iCloud account, when I first connected them to my iPhone, I got the standard notification saying "The owner of this item will be able to see its location". That's normal and there's nothing strange about that.

HOWEVER, I've been that same notification multiple times tonight, sometimes as little as 5 minutes apart. I click "OK", but a few minutes later, I get the same message again.

Does this behavior indicate that she's actively tracking me?

It’s an information that if she open “Find My” app she can track location of these AirPods until she remove them from her iCloud account.

Note: Avoid night clubs
