It looks like anything above 256GB of OEM storage is always in pair using RAID0.

The speed seems to be 3000mb/s.

If I actually make it a RAID1 or just separate them (e.g. 8TB of OEM SSD -> 4TB of each), would the speed go down?

I am just curious if the OEM SSD speed is reaching 3000mb/s just because it was in RAID0 mode.

Thanks.

You can't change the way the NAND modules are setup. If you have any capacity over 256GB, data will always be split between the two modules by the T2.

That's clear. Got it, so no way of changing the current system. Then I guess theoretically speaking, those SSD will likely speed down and perhaps is an inferior product in speed compared to aftermarket (but of course more reliable).

I was just curious on the speed aspect, to see if I will see any tangible difference (not only in launching/loading applications, but also in transferring files from one drive to this OEM drive and vice versa).
