Does the Radeon HD chip help with video encoding?

Hi,

I have a base 2.3 mid-2011 mini which I mainly use as an audio server. I have upgraded to 8GB of RAM.

Recently, I started re-coding some 1080p60 camcorder video via Aunsoft, so my wife can edit in iMovie. The mini does an OK job, but does the 2.5Ghz version with Radeon graphics assist in this type of task?

I do no gaming, and didn't think I'd be using the mini for anything other than audio/iTunes, but I've come to find it quite the handy machine.
