I'm in a real conundrum here. I don't need the processing power of the new Macbook as I do anything major on my iMac. All I use a laptop for is browsing the web, email, music, occasional very light use of Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
I had a loan of a Rev A MBA for a week and I found that it felt sluggish compared to a Macbook of the time even while doing fairly light usage stuff. Has that improved with the Rev B machines at all? Sorry for not being very scientific with my terms, but apart from the issues playing video, there wasn't anything wrong with it as such, it just felt slow in general.
I wasn't sure if it was because I was used to running Leopard with 4Gb RAM or if it was the lack of SSD option.
So as things stand, I'm looking to buy a new laptop but can't decide whether to go for the Macbook or MBA.
Any thoughts on how the new model has improved over the original?
