I recently purchased a white sport band for my watch and I was wondering if this is just me, but I've noticed that when I use it, the area under the watch and band start to sweat and feels hot. I've never experienced this with my classic buckle, but it does make wearing my watch with the sport band rather uncomfortable.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions to help? :)

When I was using the smaller sport band, yeah, definitely. I switched to the M/L band and now the fit is a little looser most of the time. When I start excercising or if it's warm out, then it fights a little tighter (which is ideal). So it's not as swampy anymore lol. Still, I'm order a click adapter so I can wear some nylon etc bands when I want to.

I definitely notice my wrist sweats while using the sport band, particularly on the S/M band over the M/L one... guess that's the nature of the material, it's bottom-line a rubber/plastic and that doesn't breathe. Leather breathes, thus why the loops/classic buckle don't cause you trouble.

Kinda defeats the purpose of a "sport" band then.

Yup. I had zero sweat issues with the milanese loop. That felt comfortable all day. It breathed well. But a couples hours in the sport band and i feel like my wrist cant breath. Slightly uncomfortable. And now i am accumulating gunk on the underside of the watch whereas i never had that with the milanese.

Rubber does not breath.

Leather doesn't breath. It soaks up your sweat. Then it starts to fester and stink after a while. At least you can clean the sport bands. Not the leather.

here's a tip this works for me... i put a little bit of baby powder on my wrist (rub it in) every morning before putting my watch on. Prevents sweaty wrist, for me. keep in mind oils, lotions, body sweat will wear the band over time...

This is why I went with an aftermarket band. I knew from before I got the watch that I would have this problem, which is why I never wear rubber watch bands. I wanted the Link, but couldn't justify spending $450 on it. I went for the cheapest SS and put up with it until I could change the band. Now I only put the sport band on when I'm exercising.

If you sweat a lot (like I do), the only way is to get a metallic band, with holes in it like the Milanese loop, or what I got. Rubber just isn't the thing for you.
