Does this damage affect structural integrity?

Currently I am using basic 13 inch MBP 2017 as home laptop.
Also I am looking for cheap upgrade to 15 inch of 2017-2018 years to increase screen size.
On ebay there are many used items in different condition, some better, some worse, for example with nicks like this in corner of the lid.
So question is, relying on your experience, does nick like this usually affect binding of screen to the lid, ability to close laptop lid densely, etc?

I did the same type of damage to a 2008 MBP. Dropped my backpack off of a counter top that held my computer.

It was bent on the top screen corner even a little worse that the picture you posted. It didn't affect the screen adhesion whatsoever. It also didn't affect the laptops ability to close properly.

It was just an unsightly reminder of why I bought the OGIO backpack with the RSS system.
