if i leave 2,3,4,5,6 web pages open will it hurt the overall performance of the phone?

should you close all pages when done with your web session?

Also should you restart the iPhone every so often to clear out the memory or does apple does this automatically?

i dont think so, safari isnt running in the background so i doubt it will hurt iphones performace, but IMO, you should just close it anyways, its not that big of a deal

ATT told me to restart my iphone everyday  but i dont

i usually let my iphone die out once a week to keep the battery meter accurate and i suggest you do the same

Thank you for your reply. However I would not run your batteries dead every week. This will shorting the life span of the battery as it put additional stress on the battery. Apple says to do a cycle once a month to keep the battery meter accurate. In reality this should be done no often then every 30 charges, if you don't plug in your phone every day don't do a complete cycle every month. this complete cycle of your battery does not in anyway increase the longevity of the battery it only resets the battery meter on the phone. If you don't think it is off then don't do a complete cycle.

Again a complete cycle will lessen the battery life.
