Don't know if it is "good" but consider that, if I understood well, it uses an USB bridge and not a thunderbolt connection so you are limited to USB speed.

If you already have an unused NVME hard disk you can consider it, otherwise probably it is better to consider a SATA SSD and another type of connection (just my opinion)

Bite the bullet and get the OWC Envoy Express Thunderbolt M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure. I slapped a WD Black in the thing and it runs at 12000 MB/s. Have Catalina running externally on a 2017 iMAC...needless to say, Fusion drive in this system can't keep up.

You might want to check out Sabrent's offerings on their website or via Big River's site. The Thunderbolt 3 enclosure is a beast with good passive cooling and the catch is it is not USB-C compatible - needs to be used with a true TB3 port.
