My MacBook Air mid 2011 just feels a bit sluggish when going into expose and performing other tasks. Maybe there's something going on in the backend or maybe it's just showing its age? I am running Mavericks by the way, Yosemite was on it but just felt too slow on my MacBook.

It's perfectly normal. Your memory pressure graph is green, which means you have RAM available. Look at the CPU tab to see what may be consuming resources.

This looks good. However I'd take a look at the CPU tab just in case...
