Hello

hi, here is the activity monitor during my compressor export.

The memory used seems to be closed to the limit when only 2 program is actively running, FCPX and compressor.

But when is memory pressure still in the green?

OS X uses all the memory it can to cache things to keep things as fast as possible, however a large chunk of this is still available for any new processes. The only thing you have to worry about is the graph at the bottom if that is green or yellow then you are all good.

I been reading them charts wrong too.

as long as left graph green then you fine.

I think the number to look at is top number on right hand side.
If so you still have 10GB RAM free to play with.

I still may be wrong though.

yep your fine

found this on google
