Does this method work to downgrade from 2.2 to 2.1

So I found this article that claims to be the solution for downgrading to 2.1

Has anyone successfully used this method? I get nervous about being one of the first one to try it...

I would guess from all the comments on that link that it does not work. Better wait for the Dev Team to crack it.

I would say no. Dev team specifically said that there is no downgrade option to get baseband back to 2.1 once official update is applied

i'm sure they will eventually crack the 2.2 baseband.. because all new iphones will come out from the factory with the new baseband already installed.

I was stupid enough to install 2.2 from itunes. At the time I thought I preferred not to mess with JB's (I once had a touch in the early days when we had no mail or maps and the JB was messy). But then I decided to try and was shocked by a few apps like sbsettings and bitesms..

now i'll have to wait
