Does Time-Capsule also backup a Windows partition ??

I'm thinking of picking up a TC ...... but does it do it's auto backup thing across the entire HDD, whichever OS is running ??

No, just the Mac side. Use Winclone to clone your PC disk to the Mac side.

The auto-backup you are thinking of is Time Machine.

If you are using Parallels or VMWare Fusion, the TC will backup those virtual discs.
