i'm using an app called trim and cut to remove sections of videos that i don't need. The great thing about this app is that u can remove sections in between the video and not exclusively either from the beginning or the end. for example, if you have a 1 minute video, you could remove from 30-40 seconds into the video using this app.

would trimming a video affect the quality using this app (or any similar apps)?

Trimming will not affect quality. Quality changes would come from compression.

did u check the app? i saw under options:

"File type MPEG-4 (mp4)
Quality Highest
(...)"

does that mean it compresses when i trim the vid using that app?

Could be compressing it if you want to be certain that nothing will be compressed get Avidemux it works on just about any operating system. It has the option to pass through the audio and video streams when you edit out the parts of the video you do not want. Now since this is in the phone section you probably want phone app but it works on just about any computer and I am thinking you have to have one of them you connect the phone too that can do the editing.

Why not use iMovie? Best video editing app I've ever used and it's free!
Just came free with my iPhone 6s.. All it allowed me to do was a play a video? Didn't see any editing options. Deleted the app lol
