I just bought a new iPad Pro and I'd like to put the IOS 13 beta on it so I can restore from my old iPad, but the issue is I don't have any computers that are USB-C yet. I have a USB-A to USB-C cable on the way, but I'd like to find the UDID and add it to my account before that. Any solutions?

Or can I just log into my dev account from the new iPad and install the profile on it and go from there? Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind. I'm an idiot. I can install the public beta. I've had a dev account for so long, probably 10 years that I didn't even think about the PB. This post can drop to oblivion now....

Just to answer your question, no, I don’t believe it matters anymore. I have bought new devices forgetting to update the identifier records and the software activated just fine. A while back it would check and prevent device activation. Not sure why they stopped doing this.

UDID checks stopped being a thing when Apple started doing public betas. Even with a developer profile installed it’s still not a thing

The various UDID registration sites don’t mention that and will happily sell people a UDID slot that is no longer needed
