Does Ultrasnow work with 3.0.1?

Ok the 3GS currently has 3.0 havent updated to 3.0.1 I need to unlock it for T-mobile.

I have done it before by jailbreaking it with redsnow for windows on 3.0 then unlocking with ultrasnow via cydia.


My question is when I jailbreak it can I jailbreak it with 3.0.1 and then unlock it with ultrasnow OR does the ultrasnow ONLY work with 3.0 and not with 3.0.1
