I want to remove my jailbreak and I'm not sure how. Does updating to iOS 8 remove the jailbreak? I'm running iOS 7.1.2 on an iPhone 5s. Thanks

Connect your device to iTunes and click Restore. iTunes will then download iOS 8.0.2 and restore the device and remove the jailbreak. Note: This will erase everything on the phone. Make sure you have a backup before restoring.

Ummm yeah

So is that pretty much all I need to do to remove it?
edit: never mind. thanks!

One last thing, should I restore from backup or just restore?

Restore your iPhone, once complete it will ask you if you want to restore from a backup or set it up as a new phone. You can do either of those two options.

If you restore from backup, you will have some jailbreak data on your phone that will eat up some storage, but you won't have to re-install all of your apps, music, and pics. Pros and cons either way.

There are two way to remove the jailbreak from a jailbroken device.
1. Restore your device with iTunes on a computer.
2. Use RecoveryTool Fix Recovery.
