iPhone 15 Pro Max Does using ProRes 4K have a higher bitrate quality than the regular modes? Every video frame not compressed?

I have ordered the 15 Pro Max and I want to make sure how ProRes works. Does it use the entire 48mp to downsample to 4K video recording? I am confused about the 48mp camera while filming in 4K.
