Hello,

Well I think I have sucessfully installed Vista on my Macbook. So far got everything working...

I have bluetooth installed and all my devices detected and paired.

For some reason though Vista can't seem to sustain a connection to my headset. When I turn my headset on and push the button the headsets status changes from passkey enabled to connected. Unfortunately, this only lasts for one second and then it switches back to passkey enabled.

I searched around and it seems that alot of other people are unable to get their bluetooth headsets working with the RTM of Vista (betas worked fine for them). There were no solutions to this problem however.

I know my bluetooth is working because I used my cell phone to control the cursor.... I just can't get the headset working!

Can anyone help ????

Thanks,

slevytam

funny thing, i just got a bluetooth adapter and headset for my dell, which is running RTM, and i can confirm that it does work. However, it may just be because you're using a MB that it's not working

i have a belkin adapter and i installed drivers for it using the cd that came with it . then it paired with my plantronics headset perfectly. maybe it's because people dont have the drivers to go with the headset

Did you have drivers with your headset. I have never needed drivers for a bluetooth headset b4 ?

Just wanted to add that I just connected my Mighty Mouse and it works beautifully. I tried to reinstall the headset and it asks for drivers of course. I don't have drivers for my headset. The apple BthKicker was what i used. It works but maybe its because I am using this driver that I am having the problem.

Thanks,

Hello,

How did you get Bluetooth to work on the Macbook ? I can't seem to get it to work and for some reason I don't have a Bluetooth option under Control Panel. Did you load the Bootcamp drivers ? and how did you do this for Bluetooth ?

Thanks, Mark
