Does "Volume Adjustment" under "Get Info" in Itunes affect AppleTV?

Hi. Before I buy an Apple TV, I need to know the answer to this question as I want to use it as an Itunes streamer. Sometimes the volume on my mp3's and movies are too low. I use the Volume Adjustment Slider on the "Get Info" for a mp3/movie and boost it up in ITunes. Will AppleTV take these settings into account? I know Front Row on my Mac does not.
