Does Wifi Syncing not work for Leopard?

I have the original Leopard on my 2008 Black Macbook and the option to sync wireless isn't there on iTunes. Any ideas? YES, it is 10.5 and ios5.

Leopard or Snow Leopard? I'm on Snow Leopard and got it to work. I had to go through a couple of these steps. Good luck.
