Is it just me or does the iCloud in safari not work ever since being jailbroken? Is there a fix available?

It does not work across my iPhone and iPad.

What part of iCloud? iCloud.com has never worked in Safari as far as I know.

The iCloud tab in safari to the right of your bookmarks, that allows you to read whatever is open on one of your devices and open it on another e.g. iPhone to iPad

It works on my jailbroken ipad mini, don't know where it's at on my iPhone though.

Found it on my iPhone and it works just fine. Your sure the devices are all logged into the same account and settings to sync tabs are turned on? Not sure what settings it would be, just making sure.

That is weird remember reading about a bug that it could be JB related but you are saying it works. Bummer, and yeah all my devices and Mac are tied to the same iCloud wonder what it could be:confused:

I read of other users having this bug. You're not imagining it. I believe I read it here on MR too. Maybe try running searches to find the thread. If you have no luck ill give it a try when I get home. I forget the fix though. I think it was disabling it on all devices, logging out, then logging back in on all devices and that got it working. I could be wrong but I believe that is what the poster did. Ill try and find it tonight after work if you can't.

Sounds good. Did you see my reply in that thread (sorry everyone for going OT)? AppInfo makes it super easy. Let me know if you run into problems or have any questions. I'm not going anywhere so take your time. No rush. :D

Indeed, I saw it just have been extremely busy and haven't had much free time. I have replied back the same goes for you man, take your time all good.

I am finally getting around to try this iCloud fix couldn't find anything via search. I tried turning off/on the Safari option within iCloud on both my iPhone and iPad and that didn't work. If I turn off/on iCloud completely it won't delete my already saved photostream photos? If it won't muck anything up I'll try that next. Its weird because it is working as I'm getting safari stuff on my iMac pushed to my devices but they arent working with each other.

Do you have the iCloud account on push? for me if its not on push it doesn't work.

You mean push as in my Notifications right, how do I do that? I don't see Safari or iCloud in my Notifications anywhere. I do have push email and Safari enabled through iCloud if that's what you mean.

Settings->Email,Contacts,Calendar->then theres a button underneath accounts, select it and it should show a push button(on or off),something like a schedule and an advanced button on the lower part, select it,make sure the iCloud account is set to push and that push was on on the previous screen,it should work now.

Wow, ok I did have Fetch New Data->Push enabled so didn't change anything. I just looked over at my iCloud tab though for the hell of it and lo and behold its working.:D

I'm not sure how it was fixed perhaps turning Safari off/on in iCloud the other day? It didn't work at the moment but its finally working now. I never used it but noticed adding websites to your Reading List kind of achieves the same thing where you can pick up an article on another device. I wonder if its just as stable and pushes over the cloud in the same way?

EDIT: ughhh actually was a false alarm the tabs it has open on my iPad were not what was open on my iPhone they were very old from last week. I tried syncing via iCloud and updating everything but recent webpages arent transferring over. So im guessing it worked at some point few days ago but is no longer working. smh
