I have had this happen to me three times now.

If I am playing music on my IPhone using the built in IPod while surfing on Safari, the music will shut off and Safari will close and I will be sent back to the home screen.

I know this means the apps are crashing, but has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.

i've had this happen to me several times, and i'm sure other people have as well. i also tried to see if i could crash the demo models at the apple store, and i was able to do so easily. i don't think apple was able to iron out all the bugs out of the os, and i'm sure added stability will come with future software updates.

I think this is an issue with the Safari browser affecting the iPhone altogether. My safari has crashed a few times after opening multiple pages (like four), causing a software reboot, and later what looked like a desktop reboot (where the opening screen icons disappeared for a few seconds, then reloaded, like a Finder crash).

This has happened to me twice now, i hope a software update fixes it.

today all of my apps were crashing, ipod during a song, google maps while looking for a costco phone number, and safari while checking the NHL free agency updates. It was getting annoying so when I got home, I restored the software and it is working better now

Same here. Every app is crashing every two seconds. 10 crashes in 20 minutes. Ughhh. I hope a software update comes out tomorrow.

Mine froze up a couple of times trying to play iPhone trailers last night but it may be related to Apple just coming on line with them.

What iPhone trailers?

I just reset mine by the way, using the sleep and home button for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appeared, and it hasn't crashed since! :)

I experienced an ipod player "skip" when i used Google Maps via EDGE.

i asked an apple store employee about it and she said the processor was likely working hard to complete all the tasks.

Yeah, it seems if I'm listening to the iPod and in Safari, when I go to the open/switch new browser button, I lose the iPod. It doesn't seem consistent, maybe only happens after the iPod has been running a couple minutes or something.

Same for me

ATTN Everyone who's iPhone is crashing: perform a restart by holding the sleep and home button for 10 seconds. Since doing this my iPhone hasn't crashed once.

I have had mine crash while listening to music via iPod and logging into myspace seems like a password problem with my situation

It happened to me thrre times on my train ride home from work today. I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one! I'm sure these things will be fixed shortly by apple.
