I'm asking, because right now I have my old iPhone 7 and my new iPhone SE side by side, with safari open playing a YouTube video. I wanted to see if it looks like one is draining battery faster than the other, but what I noticed is that my iPhone 7 screen stays on indefinitely while playing a YouTube video, while the screen on my new SE times out and goes dim then black if I don't touch it. I do not use the YouTube app, I don't have any google apps loaded onto my phones. I prefer to watch YouTube videos in Safari.

I tried checking display and battery settings but I'm not seeing one that would affect this...plus I used my saved iPhone 7 data/settings to set up the new SE so the settings should all be the same.

Thanks for your input

None of my iPhones have dimmed and turned off when streaming video content from safari, Netflix app, Hulu app, etc. Even with power save mode on. Not sure what’s happening with yours. Did you hard reset it?
