My 1st 15"MBP (week 32) got a yellowing samsung display. After returned it, I recieved a replacement MBP (week 35) with nearly perfect LG (9C67) display, brighter and whiter, except I got a dead pixel. The LCD lid can't close tightly (a little uneven).
The superdrive now changed from nice, very quiet Matshita one to a very noisy HL-DT-ST DVDRW GSA-S10N. Sound is like: weeooo, weeooo.
The reading speed seem to be slower than the matshita one. :(
Is this a standard drive model in the last generation MB and MBP?
Does anyone got a perfect LG display and a quiet Matshita drive?

Should I return it?
I'm afraid getting the yellowing back. If not, I have to stand for a dead pixel, a unevenly close lid and a noisy superdrive.

Please, give some advice.
Thanks! :p
