It just looked punctured at the bottom of the long part. I'm just curious, is it still safe to charge/use these airpods still or am I just going to have to replace them?

Honestly, I've been trying to upload one for a good 15 minutes.

I did further research on it, and it's right where the battery is, but I'm curious because it doesn't seem the battery is punctured as it still works. I'm assuming the battery isn't lithium either because it hasn't exploded... but I think I'm going to cut my losses and not use it and get new ones.

Definitely show the teacher as proof of why you didn't turn in your homework.

Replace that, you dont want exposed battery anywhere near your ear. If that vents, you will have a bigger problem than your Airpod. Ever see those exploding E-cigarettes and Samsung phones?
