Doing a Restore on a 1.1.2 Jailbroken phone won't hurt, will it?

I have a Jailbroken 1.1.2 phone and I was wanting to start from a clean slate. Will doing a restore to 1.1.2 hurt anything? Will I still be able to Jailbreak, install SSH and installer.app, etc? Its just really annoying that every time you update and installer.app gets reinstalled, it doesn't recognize any of the programs you installed onto the phone...

Also, my phone may need some repairs from apple...will restoring just before I go into the store erase any traces of hacking, so as not to void my warranty?

I wouldn’t have thought so, when I jailbroke my phone I restored it half a dozen times trying to get the independence software to work
