If I have an album added to my Apple Music Library (NOT downloaded, just added to my library) and then Apple releases a Dolby Atmos version of the same album, will my devices (M1 iMac/iPhone 12/iPad mini 5) automatically play the Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio version or do I have to delete the "older" version of the album and then add the "Dolby Atmos" version? Thanks.

As long as it’s not downloaded in another format on the device, it will play back the Atmos version if it’s enabled on your device and available in AM. You can force the stereo version to play if you disable Atmos in the settings, otherwise it will default to Atmos.

Thanks. That’s what I thought I had remembered reading.
