Apps Dolby Atmos streaming from Apple Music on Mac to OG HomePod ATV setup

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this.

My issue is that I cannot stream Dolby Atmos music from Apple Music on my Mac to my OG HomePod ATV setup.

Dolby Atmos will play from my iPhone, iPad, and ATV to the same setup. Sounds great, too. But not from either my desktop Mac or my MacBook Pro.

Is it just not possible to play in DA format, from MacOS to HomePods?

I am running MacOS 15.4. Thanks.
