Wow. What a difference this makes to the Nexus 7 with the notification bar and tabs gone.
The LasPass plugin on dolphin is the cherry on the top.
Google, please add a full screen mode to Chrome plz. Even as an experiment. Some plugin support would be nice too.

KTHXBAI.

Yea it is nicer but I really wish there were a way to get rid of the onscreen keys too and just swipe up from the bottom to get them again. Those onscreen keys were a major reason I sold my N7

You'd rather have no screen there at all for room for an extended bezel to fit a physical home button? No thanks, I'll take software buttons that can adapt for usage....

My gripe with the N7 is it doesn't use that bar for notifications, time, signal etc like 10" tablets. And from screen shots I don't think the N10 will either....

Yeah I hate the onscreen keys taking up screen real estate as well.

Yeah I am new to the Dolphin browser and I love it. I love the built in voice search that actually works pretty well.

I'm getting a nexus 4 and I would LOVE to have some type of swipe gesture to show and hide the soft buttons. Just like there is a swipe gesture from the top for notification center, it would be awesome to have one coming from the bottom.

I've been using both Dolphin and Firefox and am liking Firefox full screen a lot. As for the buttons on the bottom, clearly Google can do something about them, an easy hot corner setting in the options to show or hide them would work just fine.

Rooting and getting a custom ROM like Paranoid Android might be another solution. My on screen keys are combined with the status bar.

Edit: Also, I don't know if there is a stock AOSP browser on Nexus 7 but there is one on my ROM and the quick controls are useful so you don't have to toggle fullscreen on and off.

Edit x2: Cherry on top: a feature I don't use often but it seems like some of you may like - Expanded Desktop to hide the on screen buttons and it's accessible via holding the power button.
