domain name

I just recently registered a domain name. However I have trouble setting up iWeb to the new domain. I already updated my dot mac account for it to recognize it but it then says changing the "cname" to web.mac.com/name. How do i do that? Sorry about troubling everyone with my noobish question, this is my first time registering a domain. I was googling around for quite some time but i didn't really understand what to do. I registered my domain name through verio hopefully that's okay
