Recently, everytime I run an internet application (whether it be Safari, IE, or Firefox) - 5 seconds into running, it shuts down. Rebooting doesn't help. Any ideas are much appreciated!!

Try creating a new account and run apps from it.

You might want to look into running Disk Utility, clicking on First Aid and check "Verify Disk". If there's a problem, click "Repair Disk" and see if that helps. Sometimes there can be slight file problems that could cause applications to behave weird.

But I would also try what Povilas said, as that will also help you know if it's something wrong with your user account, or if it's a system/disk-wide issue.

Problem Solved _ Thank You!

Repairing the disk did the trick. Thank you for your help guys!!!
