I did the jailbreak, and unlocked my 3G iPhone. I have to say I love that you can change everything, but i think it slowed down my phone a good bit. I am not completely happy with it. My email was slow, typing a text was slow, even bringing up the text windows was kind of slow. So I am locking my phone back up, and lets just hope apple comes to its senses on some future firmware updates. They better soon with some phones coming out, like the blackberry storm with some really nice features. Apple, I think you can do way better, and your starting to forget about what your customers really want. (MMS, Video, Copy n Paste) We've only been saying this for how long. Oh yeah since the iphone came out. Also the storm as a 3.2 MP camera. Thats insane. Off my box for now. I will continue to love apple, and give them my business but come on. Anyone else have these problems with the break?

I don't exactly remember how to put your phone in DFU mode, you can search it. and it wipes EVERYTHING off your phone. it is the safest way to take out a jailbreak.

Did you power your iPhone on and off at all while is was JB? I usually find that sorts my iPhone when it's going slowly.

I looked it up and it said plug it in, and click restore in iTunes. Thats what i did. I hope my phone doesnt get screwed up now.

I've noticed a little bit of lag between themes and apps, but my SMS and email have been fine and I haven't noticed any changes. I'm not holding my breath for Apple to release similar apps that Cydia or some others have for JB'd 3G iPhones, b/c I'm having too much fun. I especially like the video camera app...

i liked the video camera app too. But why can't apple make one or allow someone to put it in the app store.

ok my restore didnt work, and it gets stuck on the apple logo. it responds to a hard reset but if i try to do the other restore it wont recognize my phone. I'm gonna have to take it in to apple and hopefully they fix it. Unless anyone has suggestions.
