So over the weekend, a bunch of buddies and I were watching some college football and downing beers, and I ended up pretty lit Saturday evening. For some reason, I decided to fire up Diablo 2 and play my Level 22 Amazon. I'm not a huge gamer, so this character is something I've been slowly working on for quite some time.
Welp, in a crazy drunken haze, I play though a little of Act II, and proceed to get completely assjacked by Duriel. Now, I've been around the block a couple of times and know full well how to start back in town with all my gear (without having to retrieve it), but for whatever reason, I panic and try and quit the game. Of course it doesn't work, and like an idiot I just hard reboot my G4. To make a long story short, I ended up corrupting my save file and losing the whole ***** character.
So take this as a lesson kids - don't drink and play Diablo II.
